Nicole has explored a wide range of distinctive music genres from around the world. Graduating from UCLA with a degree in Ethnomusicology, she has studied and performed North Indian, Persian, Lebanese and Syrian classical styles, Thai and Laotian traditional and numerous other genres including mariachi, gospel and jazz.
She has been employed in her current role as a Music Curator since 2016. Nicole relishes being able to use and expand upon that core knowledge through her work and strives to ensure the authenticity of the music we provide to clients.
Hunting down obscure, specialist and site specific music is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role, whether sourcing region-specific sub genres such as folk and indie from Mexico and the Middle East or embracing the challenges of working on highly detailed and exacting briefs for clients such as renowned LA and NYC seafood restaurants Catch.
